PRATTELN – Specialty chemical supplier Archroma has teamed up with Portuguese textile mill Somelos to develop a new water-saving dyeing and finishing process for cotton fabrics that claims to generate no wastewater.

The new process is said to be a combined dry dyeing/ox finishing process with an ozone treatment that only uses water to prepare the dye and oxidation baths.
