STRATFORD-UPON-AVON – A new report considers the scale and potential of the current textile recycling industry in the UK, amidst growing pressure on the government to introduce extended producer responsibility (EPR).
Environmental consultant company, Valpak produced the report, entitled 'From Waste to Worth: An Analysis of Textile Recycling Opportunity in the UK’, to analyse the level of reusability, and mechanical and chemical recyclability of textiles, based on 'placed on the market' (POM) data.
